It’s official. Veronica Mars has slipped through the reaper’s clutches for a revival series coming to Hulu in 2019.
Series star Kristen Bell confirmed the revival below:

Per sources, Veronica Mars Season 4 (Season 1 on Hulu) will consist of eight, 1-hour episodes and is eyed for a late 2019 release.
Here’s the new official description for the Veronica Mars revival:
“Spring breakers are getting murdered in Neptune, thereby decimating the seaside town’s lifeblood tourist industry. After Mars Investigations is hired by the parents of one of the victims to find their son’s killer, Veronica is drawn into an epic eight-episode mystery that pits the enclave’s wealthy elites, who would rather put an end to the month-long bacchanalia, against a working class that relies on the cash influx that comes with being the West Coast’s answer to Daytona Beach.”
The first three seasons of the original Veronica Mars, plus the 2014 movie revival, will stream on Hulu by summer 2019.
Will Veronica Mars go on to spy a fifth season overall, or will the reaper make sure it’s a one-and-done revival? Stay tuned…
