Netflix has cancelled Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, with Season 4 (and a potential finale movie) to mark the show’s end. No Season 5 for the comedy-drama, Deadline reports:
I have learned. I hear that the Internet network and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt producer Universal Television are in talks for a movie that would bring the praised series to an end.
The movie would be written by series co-creators Tina Fey and Robert Carlock after they wrap work on Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt‘s upcoming fourth season, which is currently in production. Netflix and Uni TV declined comment.
The fourth and final season of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt drops in two parts, starting May 30 with the first six episodes. The remainder of the final season releases late 2018, with the release date to be confirmed.
