Transparent has joined the ever-growing list of TV shows cancelled after five season. The streaming company has decided not to continue the dramedy into Season 6.
Per THR, showrunner Jill Soloway revealed the forthcoming fifth season will now also serves as the show’s last:
“Hopefully [the fifth and final season] sets the Pfeffermans up with some sort of beautiful reclaiming. I think we’re going to get there with some time.”
The decision to dump Transparent comes amid actor Jeffrey Tambor‘s ousting from the series following sexual harassment claims.
