The Walking Dead franchise has already expanded further with future spinoffs and TV movies, while the mothership is renewed for Season 10, but could a Maggie-led spinoff be next on the roster?
Lauren Cohan has confirmed early talks about a Maggie-centric Walking Dead series, per THR:
“There may have been some conversations, but everything is so early-days ambiguous. Me, as much as anybody, we’ll have to see what happens.”
Are you fan of The Walking Dead? Do you want a Maggie spinoff series, or is it one spinoff too many?
Stay tuned…

I think this is pushing the Walking Dead a little too far. I’ve been watching since season 1, and the punch just isn’t the same anymore. Leave Lauren Cohen be with her new show. Though WD has been renewed for a few more seasons, I think it’s lost it’s luster, and needs to come to an end. I gave up on FTWD a couple seasons ago; another spin off would just be too much; as much as I love the Maggie character.

Agree. Talk about milking the hell out of this franchise. TWD lost it for me a while ago (we also watched from season 1, used to be super-psyched for the new seasons), we still watch, but couldn’t care less if it ended tomorrow. FTWD picked up when they got rid of the 2 most annoying characters in Madison and Nick and with the addition of Morgan. Enjoying that more than TWD now. Lauren Cohan has gone off to film her new series Whisky Cavalier. Are the producers of TWD planning a spinoff for her if her new series doesn’t pan out?

I completely agree with you PB. If they keep flogging the franchise, they’ll completely ruin any good memories of the show for us die hard fans.

Keep making them !!!
