The Walking Dead end date known?
With a 10th season renewal already in the bag and a franchise expansion consisting of more spinoff shows and movies coming soon, The Walking Dead will seemingly never die, or will it?
New showrunner Angela Kang admits that she’s thought the end date was is sight at various points of the show’s run, but believes The Walking Dead has many “more stories” to come, per Deadline:
Almost at every stage of the big storylines that have been in the comic because it was being written as I was on the show, I was like okay, well, this is clearly where the show has to end because Robert’s never going to top that. Then he comes up with the next arc and I’m like okay, well, that’s actually pretty great. Then he comes up with something like the Whisperers and I’m thinking well, shit, there’s still like more stories.
So, for me it’s an evolving thing because it’s like he has so much great grist in it that it’s like we don’t know where the next arc ends. So, I guess we’ll see where it goes.
How long do you want The Walking Dead to survive cancellation? Should it be renewed forever or cancelled soon?
