Netflix has renewed the Turkish original series for Season 2, to release late 2019, insiders inform TVShowsCancelled.com.

Discovering his ties to a secret ancient order, a young man living in modern Istanbul embarks on a quest to save the city from an immortal enemy.
Per insiders, Netflix hasn’t set The Protector Season 2 as the last in the show’s run, leaving the door open for a potential third and fourth season to follow in future years.

I like the series. Nothing special about the plot and characters. But the views of Istanbul – I like the city. Been there last year and want to visit it again
Love the story and the scenes – Istanbul is so beautiful, I visited about twenty years ago for 5 days and then took a wonderful trip down the western coast visiting all the archaeological sites ending up in beautiful Ephesus!
The show has wonderful story arcs and deep character development that really suck you in. Now I NEED to know what happens next! Thank you Netflix for renewing the series!
