The Last Post Cancelled By BBC One – No Series 2

BBC One has cancelled The Last Post after one series/season. The UK broadcaster has opted not to renew the military drama for Series 2, in order to ‘make room for other shows’.

In a statement to RadioTimes, the BBC said:

“The Last Post was a fantastic series but we can confirm it won’t be returning. We are looking to bring new ideas to BBC1 and tell new stories. We’d like to thank Peter, the brilliant cast and production team for all their hard work on the series.”
