HBO has cancelled Silicon Valley, with sources maintaining that the series wont continue into Season 7.
In addition, the cabler has now delayed production on the previously-announced 6th season until summer 2019, citing executive producer Alec Berg’s busy schedule, per TVLine:
“As Alec is a showrunner on both Barry and Silicon Valley, the schedule was structured to allow Alec to wrap on Barry before starting work on Silicon Valley.”
With the news, Silicon Valley Season 6 is slated to air and conclude the series in 2020.
RIP.

Poor planning. Might as well just stick a fork in it now instead of making us wait almost two more years for a hastily thrown together final season just to “check the box”. HBO never has done us right with their cancellations, why would they start now?

so true! and as a DISH customer I am missing all HBO content now during the next of many greedy battles! somebody in congress needs to act for tv viewers; and another merger is NOT the answer! they are getting too damn big!
