BBC One has quietly renewed Silent Witness for Series 22, Emilia Fox has confirmed.
Appearing on The Graham Norton Show, the actress revealed that filming on the 22nd season of the crime drama is already under way.
Silent Witness Series 22 is slated to premiere early 2019.
The BBC has not set Silent Witness Series 22 as the last in the show’s run, leaving the door open to a potential 23rd season in 2020.
