Queer as Folk is the next cancelled TV show in reboot mode.
The reboot, which is set at Bravo, will be exec produced by Russell T. Davies, the creator of the original UK series, Variety reports:
Stephen Dunn is attached to write and executive produce. Nicola Shindler of Red Productions, who executive produced the original show, will also executive produce along with Lee Eisenberg of Quantity Entertainment. Digital Rights Group will also produce. Emily Brecht of Quantity is co-executive producing. Universal Cable Productions is the studio.
The original Queer as Folk survived two seasons and 10 episodes from 1999 to 2000 on Channel 4, while the US-Canadian remake ran five seasons (83 episodes) from 2000 to 2005 on Showtime/Showcase.
