BBC Two has renewed Peaky Blinders for Season 6 and 7.
Speaking to BBC News, creator Steven Knight said:
We are definitely doing [Season] 6 and we will probably do seven. After Season 4 it went mad.
We’ve talked to [lead actor] Cillian Murphy and he’s all for it, and the rest of the principal cast are in for it.”
Per sources, the BBC has indeed optioned Season 7 of the period crime drama. An end date for the series is yet to be set.
Peaky Blinders Season 5 is slated to premiere later in 2019, with Season 6 coming in 2020-21.
