Peaky Blinders is renewed through Seasons 5, 6 and 7, but wont go any further than that.
Speaking at the BAFTA Awards, creator Steven Knight confirmed the crime drama will end with Season 7:
“My ambition is to make it a story of a family between two wars, so always I’ve wanted to end it with the first air raid siren in Birmingham in 1939. It’ll take three more series [to reach that point].”
Knight also confirmed plans for a Peaky Blinders film:
“I wouldn’t want to do it at the very end, but maybe in between two of the series.”
Peaky Blinders Season 5 is slated to premiere in 2019, with the final two seasons expected to air in 2020 and 2021, respectively.
