Midnight, Texas Cancelled – No Season 3 For NBC TV Series

December 22, 2018 by TVShowsCancelled 22 Comments

Midnight, Texas

Midnight, Texas has joined the ever-growing list of TV shows cancelled.

NBC has axed the supernatural drama after two seasons, opting not to renew for a third, TVShowsCancelled.com has confirmed.

The December 28th season finale will now serve as the series ender, with a cliffhanger expected.

Eliminating any hope of a revival elsewhere, the low-rated series will not be shopped to other outlets for Season 3, sources inform TVShowsCancelled.com.

RIP.

I could not agree more! We have quality television shows cancelled all the time while garbage about fat, nasty women get renewed over and over again. There is nothing that explains this except that the majority of viewers are unable to watch something that is wonderful and challenges you a bit. I have read all 3 books in the MIdnight, Texas and they are awesome so I can always re-read them I guess. They are really great. Too bad we can’t find another way of keeping our favorite shows on instead of shows that are enjoyed by simple minded individuals.

Totally agree! I was looking forward to another season and just found out it was cancelled. Very bummed. Same with my all time favorite show “Heartbeat”.

Well if there’s a cliffhanger there’s a cancellation. Why do we bother?

So sick of these networks doing this s###t than have the nerve to leave you with a cliffhanger you’ll never get any kind of resolution from. These type of shoes should never be on network tv, cause I’m the end they’ll end up screwing you over like they are doing now. I hardly watch NBC as it is. I am saddened????????????.

NBC Sucks. I don’t know why any new shows go to them. This will definitely be the last series I’ll watch on there. Don’t even bother to start any new ones. I’ve disliked the way NBC has done things for years now with hit shows and, we won’t even go into your treasonous journalists in the media. I’m done wasting my time with this useless media company. Whoever owns NBC needs to take a serious look at who you have running things for you there because they don’t have a clue.

Why? This doesn’t make sense unless you have another Network that’s willing to pay big bucks for it. The original Big Three networks are still looking for those big numbers they used to get when we only had 3 channels to chose from.

You are so right todays networks are using 1950’s Nielsen ratings when we had ABC, CBS, NBC (no one watch’s PBS) now we have 200 channels ,streaming so a very small group is dictating what we all get to watch and what stays on tv the networks needs to update the Nielsen rating that shows a fair and true number rating on the shows

I love Midnight Texas but the show needed to be on HBO or something. It needed far more grit than a network will allow. I mean you have a vampire and a were but no bloody violence? I mean it was written by the same author of the Southern Vampire Series ( True Blood) so i know it was meant to be more sexy/bloody etc

At least bring it back and give us a proper series finale. That’s the proper way to end a show!!!

I am with you there Angela. I like to start watching shows from the beginning instead of later, and it seems every time I get attached to a new show, it gets cancelled. How is it possible these shows disappear and garbage goes on???

Every dope tv series i watch gets canceled… Why? From Zoo, Deception, Inhumans, Brickleberry and now…Midnight Texas too.

no doubts..this season 2 was not as good as season 1 but i loved it .

if you wont continue a tv series, stop at the first season… Wtf should we do to the suspense at the end of season 2?? CBS is soo fucked! They continue dumb series and cancel the best. Rubbish!

This was the only program your crappy network had, now that it’s gone I can remove your channel from my lineup. No wonder your ratings are tanking, besides all the liberal crap you do. CYA, wouldn’t want to BYA !
