It’s official. As expected, Netflix has cancelled Marvel’s The Defenders after one season.
Speaking in a Reddit AMA, Marvel TV chief Jeph Loeb confirmed that a second season of the Marvel team-up series is “not in the plans right now” (aka cancelled).
Could The Defenders ever be resurrected? Publicly, at least, Loeb is leaving the door open, saying “you never know!”
Are you disappointed The Defenders wont see Season 2? Looking forward to the confirmed upcoming seasons of Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist?

I didn’t finish the series boring
I really enjoyed it. It was a way to see different facets of each character, see how their stories became more deeply woven together, and have a way to watch the characters further develop in between their own individual series.
Sorry to see this one go.
