Unsurprisingly, FOX has canceled Ghosted after one season. Following low ratings, the network has opted not to bring the sci-fi comedy back to life for Season 2.
Per Deadline:
Ghosted‘s cancellation had been considered a foregone conclusion but Fox postponed the decision until after the comedy returned for the remainder of its freshman season earlier this month. With the options on the cast expiring this coming weekend, the network was prompted to act.
Ghosted was pulled off the schedule in April after nine of its 16-episode first season had run. The remaining seven — including the back six overseen by Lieberstein — started airing on June 10. As could be expected for most summer scripted series, Ghosted‘s deliveries have been soft, between 1.1-1.4 million viewers and 0.4-0.5 adults 18-49 rating (Live+same day).
With Ghosted banished to the TV afterlife, it’s unclear if and when the final three episodes of the first and only season will air.
RIP.

This is one of those FOX shows that Simpsons or Family Guy would come up with to make fun of FOX, lol. What a joke.

I thought this show was funny. But, the article is not accurate. They only showed 4 episode when the show returned in June. Will they ever show the remaining ones? Put them online?

The first half (or 9/16 to be accurate) was not bad. The ones since Lieberstein took over sucked, badly. Lieberstein seemed to be trying to morph the show into The Office and clearly doesn’t have the skill to pull it off.

It’s really a shame that it wasn’t a wasted chance. It had all the right ingredients to be a great show..
