Will HBO’s Enlightened ever see the light of day again?
Co-creator Mike White believes a third season revival or reboot of the cancelled comedy-drama could happen, but only under the right circumstances, per EW:
“I actually feel like we could do that maybe. But I don’t know. There was a lot of pain with the ending. It’s like going into an old relationship where you’re like… let’s do something new. I may do something and work with HBO again, but I don’t know about another season of Enlightened.”
Dismally rated, Enlightened survived two seasons from 2011 until its cancellation in 2013.
