Detroiters has been added to the ever-growing list of TV shows cancelled.
Comedy Central has axed the sitcom after two seasons, opting not to renew for a third, series creator and star Sam Richardson has confirmed:
Sadly, Detroiters won’t be picked up for a season 3 at Comedy Central. I want to thank everyone who watched and supported the show. It was a dream to make and I’m proud that those who did see it enjoyed it.
Despite the cancellation at Comedy Central, Richardson suggests Detroiters Season 3 could live on elsewhere:
Maybe it will find a home elsewhere, who knows? But truly, thank you.
