Iron Fist and Luke Cage have bitten the dust, but will Daredevil be the next Netflix/Marvel show to join the list of TV shows cancelled?
With Season 3 dropping last week, Netflix has yet to officially cancel or renew the superhero series.
On the future of the series, star Charlie Cox believes Season 4 would be a “challenge”, per THR:
At this point, I don’t know if there’s any intention of us doing more seasons. But were that to be the case, I think there’s an interesting challenge for the writers, because I don’t think we can do another season where Matt is so isolated, so alone, and so broken and angry. I think in order to avoid being a broken record, we’re going to have to find a Matt Murdock that at least initially has a slightly different attitude toward the people that he loves, and toward himself, and toward God. I think in season four, there needs to be at least one episode where he goes on holiday to the Caribbean, and the whole crew needs to migrate down there for two weeks, and the whole episode he just sits on a beach.
Where do you stand? Should Daredevil Season 4 happen? Should the show be cancelled? Watch this space…
I really hate to see Daredevil & Iron fist cancelled! I love, love, both of these shows. I love, the actors & actresses in both! Please do not cancel these!!
I’m SO bummed and ticked that they’ve cancelled these shows. Do they EVER listen to the fans? Obviously…NO!????
The season 2 was pretty bad but this season was amazing. The last few episodes were exactly as I wanted, with the amount of action, drama and suspense as expected. Iron First was pretty good 2 (not the 1st season, that was awful). I hope this gets renew. Supergirl, Arrow, The Flash, they continue being renewed, but not these? There are masterpieces in comparison…

It is sad that Netflix doesn’t attempt to take all the great characters from their Marvel series together somehow, e.g., you could have Luke Cage, Iron Fist, Colleen Wing, Misty Knight and the Night Nurse together…….Or do shorter seasons? Daredevil is the BEST series of the bunch…..I hope they do not cancel it!

I think this is all Disney. I think they want these shows under their own roof and not under Netflix therefore I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised if Disney has bought the shows back from Netflix or is forcing Marvel not to renew the contracts
