SUNDANCE TV’S ORIGINAL NON-FICTION SERIES “CLOSE UP WITH THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER” RETURNS WITH ALL NEW EPISODES ON SUNDAY, JUNE 24th AT 10AM ET
The Daytime Emmy(R) Nominated Series Will Return with Seven New Episodes Featuring A-List Actors, Actresses and Showrunners in TV’s Best Comedies and Dramas
NEW YORK – June 07, 2018 – SundanceTV’s original non-fiction series “Close Up With The Hollywood Reporter,” produced in partnership with The Hollywood Reporter, returns for the first half of its fourth season on Sunday, June 24th at 10am ET. The first part of the season presents seven original episodes featuring roundtable discussions with Academy Award(R), Emmy Award(R) and Golden Globe(R) nominated and winning actors, actresses and showrunners making an impact in the television industry today. The new season, with TV Executive Editor Lacey Rose moderating six episodes and Awards Editor Rebecca Ford helming one, will include passionate and candid conversations with A-list talent from the year’s most acclaimed series. Guests this season include Angela Bassett, Jason Bateman, Alison Brie, Jeff Daniels, Claire Foy, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Sean Hayes, Michael B. Jordan, Debra Messing, Tracy Morgan, Elisabeth Moss, Thandie Newton, Sandra Oh, Matthew Rhys, Ray Romano, Tracee Ellis Ross, Tony Shaloub, Drew Barrymore, and J.K. Simmons, as well as other industry notables including Whitney Cummings, Bruce Miller, Peter Morgan, Mike Schur, Amy Sherman-Palladino, David Shore, Melissa Rosenberg, Robert Kirkman, Justin Simien and Lena Waithe.
Nominated for a Daytime Emmy(R) in 2017, “Close Up With The Hollywood Reporter” represents a continued commitment by SundanceTV to innovative, informative unscripted programming that sheds light on the world of filmed storytelling and popular culture.
