NBC has renewed Chicago Fire for Season 7, to premiere fall 2018, RenewCancelTV has learned.
As we exclusively reported, fellow franchise dramas Chicago P.D (Season 6) and Chicago Med (Season 4) have long been renewed.

I follow your newsletter, but you missed the mark on the Chicago Fire Season 7 renewal. Here in Chicago, the trilogy’s renewal was announced together before airing of the season finale of Chicago Fire. Your sourcing certainly appears to be weak when it came to Chicago Med and PD renewals, these were not renewed officially until last week.
