Carter Season 2

EXCLUSIVE: Carter wont be a victim of cancellation any time soon.

Bravo has renewed the Canadian crime drama for Season 2, to premiere in 2019, multiple insiders inform TVShowsCancelled.com. UPDATE: Season 2 will air on CTV in Canada.

About Carter:

When Harley Carter (Jerry O’Connell) was a teenager, he experienced 15 minutes of fame when he solved the mystery of a serial killer plaguing his small town. Now, years later, Harley has become a famous Hollywood actor playing a grown-up version of what he actually was as a kid. And it’s wearing on him. After an embarrassing public meltdown in Hollywood, Harley returns to his hometown to take a break but finds that he can’t leave solving mysteries behind. Carter taps into his acting experience to become a real-life detective, partnering with (and reconnecting to) his childhood friends, no-nonsense police veteran Sam Shaw (Sydney Poitier Heartsong) and witty, street-wise coffee truck owner, Dave Leigh (Kristian Bruun).

In the US, Carter Season 1 aired on WGN America on August 7, 2018. The cabler is expected to also pick-up the second season.

With Season 2 renewed, can Carter survive into Season 3? Stay tuned…

The article isn’t clear, but the Bravo being referred to is the Canadian channel. In the United States, the series will likely stay on WGN.

I’m really, really happy that there’ll be a Season 2. The show is clever and well written, the cast is a great, ensemble, and it’s a good balance of fun and light drama without getting Gotham-dark. I’m happy to see O’connell in a series again.

    Thanks, Bravo! for Season 2.

i am so happy that Carter is back.Thank you Bravo! The Mysteries are fun. I enjoy the humour.. A lot of shows are too dark for my taste.I like Jerry O’Connell and the rest of the cast.

At first I thought the show was mildly entertaining but somewhat hokey. As time went on the episodes improved a country mile and I am elated that there will be a season 2.
