Everyone loves cake right? FXX has just announced the premiere date for their new comedy show.
The comedy series “celebrates live-action and animation that’s thought-provoking, laugh-inducing, surprising, authentic and raw.” When their aging father’s illness reunites two sisters under one roof, new tensions arise between them as old wounds and hidden secrets surface. Starring:Aamina Sheikh, Sanam Saeed, Adnan Malik. Sanam Saeed (“Zindagi Gulzar Hai”) stars in this slice-of-life family drama.
Cake debuts on FXX on September 25th at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT.

LOS ANGELES, August 29, 2019 – FXX today announced the premiere date for Cake. The new weekly showcase of live action and animated short-form comedy programs of varying lengths will premiere Wednesday, September 25 at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT on FXX. The weekly half-hour block, as well as the individual programs themselves, will also be available to FX subscribers through FXNOW.
Cake is a handcrafted assortment of bite-sized shorts carefully curated and served up as a tasty treat for the mind. Featuring a diverse array of narratives from storytellers both new and established, this half-hour short-form comedy block celebrates live-action and animation that’s thought-provoking, laugh-inducing, surprising, authentic and raw.
