Following its cancellation at FOX, NBC has renewed/revived Brooklyn Nine-Nine for Season 6.
Robert Greenblatt, NBC Entertainment chairman, said of the revival:
“Ever since we sold this show to Fox I’ve regretted letting it get away, and it’s high time it came back to its rightful home. Mike Schur, Dan Goor and Andy Samberg grew up on NBC and we’re all thrilled that one of the smartest, funniest and best-cast comedies in a long time will take its place in our comedy lineup. I speak for everyone at NBC, here’s to the Nine-Nine!”
The 13-episode sixth season is slated to premiere in 2019.
It’s a 13-episode pickup for #Brooklyn99 on NBC.
Mike Schur now has three shows on NBC with this, “Abby’s” and “The Good Place.”

I don’t think this show will make it on NBC. I really can’t believe NBC took it. This is a “Fox show, only.”
You’ve got to be kidding. This is a good show with good actors.
So NBC picks up the cancellation of a show from another network and can’t make it announce a decision on the AMAZING show Timeless?? These network execs need to start listening to the PEOPLE! I’ve not watched this show so don’t care much but the whole renew/cancel thing leaves us with so many new stupid shows when they drop so many good ones
