Jason Ritter looks like he is returning to ABC. TVLine repots the Kevin (Probably) Saves the World star will guest on season two of A Million Little Things.

A Million Little Things is a series set in Boston which follows a group of friends who bonded under unexpected circumstances. Some have achieved success, others are struggling in their careers and relationships, but all of them feel stuck in life. After one of them dies unexpectedly, it’s just the wake-up call the others need to finally start living. Along the way they discover that friends may be the one thing to save them from themselves.

On season two of A Million Little Things, Ritter will be playing an acquaintance of Maggie’s mother, Patricia (Melora Hardin), who will “upend everything” for Maggie (Allison Miller).

The new season of A Million Little Things premieres on ABC on September 26th at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
