Starz has renewed American Gods for Season 3, ahead of its Season 2 premiere, according to star Ricky Whittle.
Taking to social media, Whittle suggested that American Gods Season 3 is already renewed:

We’ve reached out to Starz for comment.
Despite its numerous behind the scenes problems, American Gods‘ Season 3 renewal would keep the show safe from the list of TV shows cancelled until 2020.
American Gods Season 2 is slated to premiere in 2019 on Starz.
