ALL-NEW SEASON PREMIERES WITH BACK-TO-BACK EPISODES ON FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 28 AT 11:00 P.M. AND 11:30 P.M. ET/PT ON COMEDY CENTRAL

NEW YORK, September 20, 2018 – Comedy Central today announced premiere dates for its slate of Comedy Central Stand-Up Presents… half-hour specials, kicking off with back-to-back episodes on Friday, September 28 at 11:00 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. ET/PT.

Mike Lawrence (11:30 p.m.)Comedy Central Stand-Up Presents… , previously known as The Half Hour, has long served to showcase emerging classes of exciting, dynamic stand-up talent. The weekly series is a vital springboard in the network’s talent-development pipeline for stand-up and scripted projects on all platforms. Season 2 of Comedy Central Stand-Up Presents… is the third season of half-hour specials filmed at the Civic Theatre in New Orleans, preceded by Season 1 of Comedy Central Stand-Up Presents… and Season 5 of The Half Hour.
Leading up to on-air premieres, talent will be featured on Comedy Central Central’s digital series Every Damn Day and You Didn’t Want to Know, as well as radio takeovers on Comedy Central Radio (SiriusXM Channel 95). The CC App and cc.com/StandUp will feature clips from each special, and full episodes of Comedy Central Stand-Up Presents… will be available the day after premiere on the Comedy Central App and cc.com. Comedy Central Stand-Up Presents… is executive produced by John Bravakis and Stu Schreiberg from Triage Entertainment. Anne Harris and Bill McGrath are the Executives in Charge of Production for Comedy Central.
