For him, being around dead bodies is a normal part of life. For the last 25 years, Graham has been the Coroner of Dauphin County, Pennsylvania. He handles close to 700 suspicious deaths each year. THE CORONER: I SPEAK FOR THE DEAD chronicles some of his most mysterious and disturbing homicides. While detectives search for clues among the living, Graham – a medical death investigator – is uncovering the secrets of the dead.

In June 2011, a group of young white teens drinking and partying in Rankin County, Mississippi, decided to “mess with” African Americans in nearby Jackson. James Craig Anderson became the group’s target, as the teens ran down Anderson with their car – killing him in the process. Condemned as a modern-day lynching, the act was a sign that hatred based on race is alive and well in the United States. With racial tensions dominating political debate, monopolizing newspaper headlines and dividing communities, this timely documentary series investigates one of the first crimes to be prosecuted under federal Hate Crime laws.

GYPSY’S REVENGE

The story of the life of mother and daughter Dee Dee and Gypsy Rose Blanchard is at first glance a triumph of human spirit over adversity. Dee Dee was a warm-hearted and utterly devoted single mom, and a saintly full-time caregiver to Gypsy who was dogged by terrible illnesses since birth – from leukemia to brain seizures to muscular dystrophy. So when the status update “That bitch is dead” appeared on Dee Dee’s Facebook on June 14th, 2015, friends and neighbors were perplexed. It was an incongruous post from sweet natured Dee Dee whose feed was always full of endearing photos and cute posts. Had someone hacked Dee Dee’s account? Was this a joke? Or something altogether more sinister?

Two-time Oscar(R)-winning director Barbara Kopple partners with America’s leading true-crime network, Investigation Discovery (ID) to explore the legacy of the notorious 1989 murder of Noreen Boyle in Mansfield, Ohio in the new documentary, A MURDER IN MANSFIELD. The film chronicles Noreen’s son Collier’s journey for answers and peace in the aftermath of his mother’s death, at the hands of his father, nearly three decades ago.
