USA Network has cancelled Colony after three seasons, with no Season 4 for the alien invasion drama, RenewCancelTV has confirmed.
Per sources, the decision to cancel the series came after a significant ratings drop, which sealed the show’s fate despite active plans for Season 4.
With the cancellation Colony‘s July 25 season finale now stands as the cliffhanger series ender.
RIP.

I really loved this show. It was perfect for summer viewing. I thought it was quite well done. Great stars. Thought it was a much better show than some who stay on for many years. Sorry to see it go.

I never missed a show either – I love it! Why on earth would USA cancel such a good show? What do you mean the ratings aren’t good – so what? Have you read all the comments here? We are all avid fans. Reality shows – what a joke!!!!!!!!!!
This was a great show. I have invested 3 seasons of watching this show. It kept growing and getting better. The show did not deserve to die. I really hope netflix or fox or Amazon pick it up. I would pay to watch it. Something is wrong with USA Network.
There is something wrong with all the networks they have shows people love watching but cancel them for crap shows like dancing with the stars and other reality shows which are dumb!!!

It is almost like it’s not worth getting invested in a program anymore because in all likelihood it will get cancelled and left with a cliffhanger.

Every damned time I get invested in a well written, interesting, well casted show, it gets cancelled. I seem to have lost 8 shows this year. I think I’ll just give up on getting interested anything new and take up sky-diving or something. That would be a safer bet!
Another good show cancelled! Colony was the only reason I watched the USA network. I’m about to ditch my satellite, there really isn’t anything good on these days.
You are ALL right. This is a great show, and I have always watched. It was actually about the ONLY show on USA that I watch anymore. Guess I will NOT be watching anything on USA. As several people here said, why bother getting interested in a show, unless it is some asinine reality show, or a stupid low-brow comedy that only morons find funny, it seems like they all just get cancelled. So, USA, you lost another viewer for life. I just won’t bother anymore.
Yes my husband and I were so glad we finally found a good, exciting, well written Summer series to watch and now it’s cancelled. What a shame

Just watched the cliffhanger season 3 finale. Shame it’s cancelled. The characters were just getting really interesting and it would have been so nice to have an end. But as always reality rubbish gets season 1097 and the good stuff gets dumped. TV is getting worse and worse. Hurrah for Netflix.
