Better Late Than Never Cancelled By NBC – No Season 3

July 16, 2018 by TVShowsCancelled 26 Comments

NBC has cancelled Better Late Than Never after two seasons. Insiders inform RenewCancelTV that the reality-travel show will not return for Season 3 following poor ratings.

In Better Late Than Never Season 2, the five globe-trotting stars – Henry Winkler, William Shatner, George Foreman, Terry Bradshaw and comedian Jeff Dye – set off on a wildly entertaining journey to Munich, Berlin, Lithuania, Sweden, Barcelona, Madrid and Morocco.

RIP.

What? A show is too wholesome for you & it has to be pulled & ruin it for everyone who loves it? Read the handwriting on the wall, America. How low is this country going to go? I agree with Claudia!! Pretty soon there won’t be anything to watch.

I’m so disappointed. I was really looking forward to the next season. Those guys were hilarious and I enjoyed seeing them experience other cultures. I really, really hope another channel picks it up.

This is such a disappointment. There are so few, if any, shows on TV that are lighthearted and outright funny, while also giving us a look into other countries and cultures. It was a show I looked forward to each week, and I’m so sad to see it go. Shame on you, NBC!!

This show was so good. It made me laugh so hard. I guess because there wasn’t any violence in it that it didn’t make it. Come on someone else pick up. As you’ve read all of the comments NBC you’re making a bad mistake

Funny but It ran its course and the gags became repetitive. Foreman was a lightweight, Bradshaw a complete sap. Right decision by NBC.

Couldn’t have happened to a better guy. Go back into retirement terry. You took too many hits to the head. I feel bad for Henry Winkler though.

What???? Darn it !!! I was waiting for this to come back for a 3rd season . The show was so so funny. I hope another station can pick this up. It’s a shame it got poor ratings because if more people watched this they would of loved it. So sad.

Oh noooooo! This was one of our favorites to watch. I sure hope it gets picked up elsewhere. We so love this show. We laugh so hard we almost cry. It’s entertaining, funny, heartfelt, educational and so much more. Why cancel it? I hope it’s not the guys that don’t want to do it any longer.

I totally agree with these comments! We laughed so hard while watching the show. It was entertaining, funny, introduced to other cultures. It was too heartfelt and clean. I do hope someone picks it up. I was really looking forward to another adventure with these guys.

I hate that NBC cancelled this show. But, that is what the TV powers that be do now. If a show is wholesome entertainment it has to go. If it were 4 people, black, Latino, Iranian, and gay, the show would run for 20 seasons. But, since it is 3 elderly white guys, and one young white guy, and one black old guy that gets along with the 4 white guys, there must be something wrong with the show. I have never laughed so hard watching a tv show in the last 10 yrs. They were all seeing something they had never seen before, enjoyed each country they visited, and had their own take of what they enjoyed the most. There are such few shows I watch now I can name them all on one hand – This is Us, The Good Doctor, New Amsterdam, Bull, and The Voice. As you see, no comedies, because they just are not funny anymore. That is why I liked Better Late then Never. Soon, everyone will go to Antenna, and Cable will become obsolete. And so will ABC, CBS, and NBC.

This show was canceled too soon. Should have promoted it a little more and given it more episodes. It was about to get noticed and take off.

Oh, no way!! I can’t believe it. This show was hilarious! My hubby and I never laughed so hard about a show in years! Please, please think this through. Everyone we talked with that watched felt the same as we did. The chemistry between these actors was truly amazing. This is such a disappointment.
