History has cancelled Six after two seasons. Following declining ratings, the cabler has opted not to renew the military drama for Season 3, Deadline reveals:
History has opted not to order a third season of its Navy SEAL drama series Six. The decision comes with four more episodes left to air from the 10-episode second season. They will run as scheduled. I hear the timing of the decision was tied to the cast options expiring at the end of this week.
[..] Ratings have dropped in Season 2, running almost 50% below the Season 1 averages in Live+same day, which I hear was behind the cancellation decision.
RIP.

NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! You can’t cancel this show, it’s my favorite!! I LOVE these guys and look forward to this show every week. It seems like all the good shows are always canceled and leave on the crappy shows that only a moron would watch.
I am truly truly disappointed. Shame on you History channel!!!

Another great show down the drain because of poor advertising. People can’t watch if none knows it’s even on tv.

i agree with all the above comments, except I think we should eliminate this (particular) CIA agent. She brought nothing to the show. Otherwise, it is a wonderful show with good actors and scripts. Is the “History Channel” joining A&E, WE and a couple of other ‘chicken’ TV networks where they don’t give a good show ample opportunity so show it’s worth. Even as it was/is, SIX is better than all the summer “Reality Shows” put together.

I agree! She brought the show down. Probably the reason it got cancelled.
