um… not sure i mean the guy is funny but can he do the serious parts of riggs story i love the show so will at least give him chance..
Dave says
He is not replacing Riggs, he is a new character, Riggs is dead.
dagrimone says
yea typical me rushing without reading properly… still though not sure its a good fit while he isnt playing riggs his charicter i expect will be a little similar and i still dont think the actor is good at serious stuff humor yes serious stuff not so much if i am honest but will give it a chance
Joni says
I am sorry that Riggs got fired I enjoyed his crazy antics But I guess sending him off the way they did was ok He will be reunited with his one true love. What happens now to Jordana. She was a big part of the Riggs storyline. Will the new character be just as crazy?
Greg Peterson says
I give it one season and it will be finished for good. The whole point of lethal weapon is about Riggs. Also if you believe Clayne Crawford’s comments as to why he disrupted the set then he had a reason. Safety issues.
Personally I found the way Damon Wayans plays Murtaugh annoying as he seems like a PC p*ssy. I am not sure about Seann William Scott coming into the series as to me he is as funny as a wet week.
As I said I think this will be the end of the show but I have been known to be wrong. I do know I will not be watching it.
SHARON BATTERHAM says
Clayne was the reason I loved the show and he is not replaceable.
Donner11 says
I agree, Greg. Riggs was better. And he may not be dead, maybe he’ll just go off to Texas with Jordana. They don’t have to kill him. He’d still be out. Murtaugh is cast as a conceited, whiney baby. I’ll give it a shot.
XP says
You can’t have “Lethal Weapon” w/o Martin Riggs! Thats like having Rambo w/o Rambo. Seems like the studio could have found a resolution w/ Crawford who was the meat and heart of the show and my only reason to watch. So I won’t be tuning in.
GingerRogue says
Welp, one less show to watch on Tuesdays. Crawford’s Riggs was the heart and soul of the show.
Janet Lewis says
Clayne Crawford made the show. I think firing him was stupid and I will not watch it again. If it could not be made with him it should have been canceled. I do not know what it is with producers that they just keep replacing the cast and expect to go on like nothing ever happened.
Connor says
That’s it! The show is dead for me!
Denise says
Ditto on that one. The show is based on his character, if they killed him off then the show is over for me. The dynamic between Riggs and Murtaugh is what makes the show popular.
