FOX has cancelled The Last Man On Earth after four seasons. The network has decided not to continue the comedy-drama into Season 5, RenewCancelTV can confirm.
Actress January Jones announced the show’s axing on Instagram:

This is a truly groundbreaking show. Too bad this is being cancelled. We need at least to have a good closure with this show. Hope it can continue on another channel or platform!
I don’t know what took FOX so dam long to put this show out of its misery. The commercials were more entertaining than the show was. I just watched to see if it could get even dumber and every week they did. The 1st season had promise then it went way past stupid to a waste of time.
This show was OK when it started, but it went downhill gradually… and the minute they brought in Fred Armisen & Kristen Whig it went straight to Hell (and not in a good way). Oddly enough, the same thing happened to SNL when those two airhog not funny idiots were on that show.
Really can’t say I’m going to miss this one.
