Please stop with your false information as CBS has not yet made an official announcement on Scorpion

This show is rated #20 out of 23 scripted shows. Being near the bottom does not guarantee an early renewal so please stop with the false news

If you read the article, it says “informed insiders” say the show is going to be renewed, which I do agree hardly makes it official.

I’m confused – is it canceled or renewed? I read the article as meaning the show was canceled (boo), but everyone responding seems to think it’s renewed (yeah). Who’s right? If it’s canceled, I think CBS, should at least give them a chance to finish properly. If we’re left with season 4’s ending, it sucks!

Welcome to Cheeto’s America. A dumb show, which appeals to the dumbest people in history is revived, while a show about geniuses which is actually well written and well produced is canceled.

      Make America Stupid Again!

(you’ll also notice that all of the idiotic “reality” shows – which are even dumber than Tim Allen’s pathetic attempts at humor – also were renewed. But then, the Orange Imbecile himself came from a “reality” TV show, didn’t he?)

I totally agree with Satan’s comments on May 14th. Networks keep renewing the dumbest shows that causes brain cell loss just watching for a minute. But, cancel good shows with great cast and writing. It continues to boggle the mind. It’s going to come a day when I quit watching TV.

Why? This was a good show, one that I consistently watched along with many other friends. We never missed an episode. And to end it with a cliffhanger like the final show of season 4 is just crappy! Perhaps I’ll delete your channel from my cable box altogether, not that you care. You networks are still using the old 3 channel system of ratings, guess what, there are over 200 channels to chose from now, you will never see ratings like the old days again.

this is a terrible decision by CBS. Scorpion is a unique show that is great for the entire family. The characters and chemistry between the actors is great. And, you left millions of fans worldwide with a horrible way to end a beloved show. CBS is truly the worst network. They do not listen to the actual people who make their jobs possible. Scorpion at least deserves a final season. There are too many loose ends. I am seriously angry that Scorpion has been cancelled.

We live in Perth ,Western Australia and we have been watching Scorpion ever since it started. We are an elderly couple and we thoroughly enjoy it. It is not fair to have the show finish on a cliff hanger. Please at least make one further episode or a feature film just to tie up all loose ends. We have been emotionally involved with all the characters since this show started.

Well, this stinks. The replacement, Elementary, has gotten really lame. At least I have more time to get other things done Monday nights now that I don’t have any can’t miss TV to worry about. CBS was the only network I really watched anymore and now they’re cancelling most of the good stuff there too. So annoying.

Used to love Mondays. Supergirl at 8pm then switch to Scorpion at 9pm.
Great times for kids to watch and before going to the pub.
A 10pm switch for Scorpion killed it as people are in the pub or just home from the pub so miss it.
Also too late for older kids to watch it too after Supergirl.
A great no violence show that parents could watch with their children until they shifted to a 10pm start.
Reminded me of the 60’s 70’s show Mission Impossible where they had to plan a solution and outwit the opposition and ot problems.
Will really miss it and it was the only show I would 100% watch every week.
    Totally gutted and heartbroken.

Did any of you sign up on Change.org that says To renew Scorpion? If not, do so and get all your friends, all your friends on Facebook and all your families to sign up. Because I want CBS to know how many of us want Scorpion back for a fifth season. Did any of you write a letter to CBS about giving Scorpion another chance? If so, let’s hope CBS gets about 10 or 20 million letters from the fans. Look at Timeless. NBC cancelled it after one season. The fans begged and demanded NBC to give it another chance and it worked. Timeless was renewed for a second season. Now, let’s beg and demand CBS to give Scorpion another chance and let’s hope it’ll work.

If millions of fans write letters to CBS about giving Scorpion another go, CBS would say, they win.
Or perhaps The CW would pick Scorpion up for a fifth season.

Doubt CW would pick it up… they seem to have only two tracks for TV shows over there….

      1) Comic book adaptations (Riverdale & all the DC universe stuff)

      2) Sappy shit that belongs on the Lifetime channel (Life sentence, Jane the Virgin, etc.)

Scorpion doesn’t fall into either of those categories, so even though CBS is half owner of that network, it’s not a likely move.

On the other horn… it would be a good fit for the CBS All Access streaming service, alongside Star Trek Discovery. I imagine there’s a decent cross over audience between those two, since both shows appeal to viewers with brains. Most of the Scorpion viewers probably watch via some sort of streaming as it is…. probably not the type of show targeted towards senior citizens who are still watching console TVs with the rabbit ear antennas.

One more reason that I no longer need to watch CBS. I pretty much don’t watch the networks (NBC, CBS, ABC) anymore. Fans don’t matter to them! To many times they cancel a series that does better than the shows they keep. Why invest your time in their series if fans don’t matter to them. With all the other options of viewing programming, their not doing themselves any favors. Bye CBS, who needs you!!
