Into The Badlands goes into the cancellation graveyard.
AMC has cancelled the martial arts drama after three seasons, having opted not to renew Into The Badlands into Season 4.
The news is unsurprising given that the third season ended production many moons ago with several of the main cast members having already moved on to new projects.
The final batch of unaired eight episodes will finally air from March 24, bringing a close to the series, which will end on a cliffhanger, per sources.
As we enter the final chapter of Into the Badlands, an imprisoned Bajie warns Sunny that Pilgrim can’t be trusted. But with his son’s life on the line, Sunny struggles with his decision to help Pilgrim unlock the Meridian Chamber. Meanwhile, M.K., still reeling from the revelation that Sunny killed his mother, is hell-bent on revenge. Kidnapped by The Master, the Widow is forced to confront her past. Moon meanwhile races to save Lydia from impending death after she risked her life for his on the battlefield. As the last episodes unfold long buried secrets will be revealed, new alliances will be forged, and the saga will climax in an epic battle to end all battles.
RIP.

Bad choice from AMC. You are cancelling one of my favourite shows. You should have cancelled The Walking Dead instead which makes no sense without Rick, Maggie, Jesus and all you have killed. Watched last night’s beginning and its really getting bored. Results, I don’t have anything more to watch on your AMC channel, so good-by to you. Into The Badlands was a great show and if you let it inconclusive with a cliff hanger, revenge will be my pleasure, no more AMC on my cable. I am sure many fans will do the same.

Really liked Into the Badlands and Disappointed that it’s cancelled. Also, liked the actors. If you are really cancelling and leaving the show with a cliff hanger, then you are also mean to your viewers.

What!?! Why was it cancelled? Was it ratings? If it was, then the rating’s system needs to be redesigned. This was one of the best shows on AMC! At least do one more close out season. I hate it when a station leaves the view hanging on a TY show. VERY DISAPPOINTING!!

OK Netflix… here’s your chance to fill in the holes in your schedule left by all those Marvel shows you suddenly dropped. Pick this show up NOW.

Very disappointed in AMC decision to cancel the Into the Badland. The series was very entertaining. You might as well cancel the walking dead because you have killed off Rick, Jesus and Maggie is no longer part of the series and now Michonne is leaving after the this season…

2 words… very disappointing.
A pretty solid storyline with actions in between, the ratings are not “that” bad… why cancel it?
Is a “better” show waiting in line?
Again, very disappointing.

I’ve enjoyed some Bruce Lee stuff over the years but this series just seemed strange to me. Never could get into it. Felt like it should have been cancelled a while ago.

AMC, your network made a very bad choice in cancelling this show. This show is the best show you have on your channel that keeps people watching AMC. Well, i guess you lost so many fans and that includes myself and other friends i know that watches AMC network. Whoever that makes decision of the shows to cancel on your network obviously isn’t smart or know what the hell he/she is doing. Smart choices isn’t their thing as the they have very bad poor judgement. He/she needs to be handed a pink slip otherwise you guys will be on a sinking ship that cost your company to go down. FYI, nobody watches “walking dead” anymore not even sure why you think is a good show to keep now that Rick (who is the reason to watch) is gone and other better characters. The show is boring now and it needs to be gone. Goodbye, no more AMC on my TV, you guys are dead to me.
