EXCLUSIVE: It’s official – Grey’s Anatomy will continue into Season 16.
The network has renewed the long-running medical drama for a 16th season, slated to premiere fall 2019, insiders have confirmed to TVShowsCancelled.com.
Could Grey’s Anatomy Season 16 be the last in the show’s run? With Star Ellen Pompeo‘s contact running through Season 16, it’s possible that the show could end before Season 17.

I think that Greys Anatomy is one of those shows that could survive like some soap opera’s have. It’s an excellent show, with enough cast changes to keep us interested, and that alone helps to keep some of the originals to receive higher wages. Obviously this is just my opinion, but I miss the days of TV shows that you know you can look forward to year after year. I’ve seen to many very promising shows die after a season, simply because of a lack of scheduling knowledge. People won’t watch if they don’t know its on.
