My Big Fat Fabulous Life

WHITNEY THORE QUESTIONS CAREER AND LIFE CHOICES ON A NEW SEASON OF TLC’S “MY BIG FAT FABULOUS LIFE”

Season 6 Premieres Tuesday, January 1 at 8:00p.m ET/PT

Whitney Thore isn’t holding anything back for the sixth season of TLC’s MY BIG FAT FABULOUS LIFE, premiering Tuesday, January 1 at 8:00p.m ET/PT with a two-hour episode. The series follows Whitney as she juggles her dance career, continues to fight through body shaming while dealing with polycystic ovarian syndrome and navigates the hilarious and emotional circle of her family and friends.

This season, Whitney finally reunites with her old friend Buddy after being apart from him while he was in rehab, and the will-they-won’t-they chemistry between them is all over the place. Acknowledging that she is still single but following her dreams of being a mother, Whitney moves forward with the steps to adopt a child but must deal with the varying opinions of her family and friends who don’t agree that this is the right move for her at this time. Thinking about creating a family of her own causes Whitney to reflect on her existing family and her parents increasing medical needs as they get older; she realizes she won’t have them forever and needs to seriously re-evaluate her priorities. Meanwhile, Whitney admits that the excitement of her beloved “Big Girl Dance Class” has worn off and thinks that going on tour with the class will breathe new life into the program. However, she’s at odds with her long-time dance partner Todd, who thinks they should focus on the local clientele in Greensboro, NC. Finally, Whitney tackles the biggest physical challenge of her life in a quest for redemption after last season’s 8K race in Hawaii ended in disaster. (TLC)

I don’t understand why TLC insists on letting this show carry on. Glorifying someone who’s fat is justifying America that it is alright 2 b morbidly obese. That’s why health insurance is high and disabilty maybe taken away from my son who has cerebral palsy and can’t walk or talk because disability is allowed 4 these obese people 4 not taking care of themselves. I’m sorry I don’t buy her story that polycistic ovarian syndrome was “totally” responsible 4 her weight gain. I don’t watch this show simply 2 make it get off the air.

Only in America can someone with no honest claim to fame, other than being grossly over-weight, get a TV show and earn 1.5 million dollars! Apparently the original intent was to champion a cause, but turned into a ‘no plot’ soap opera with lousy actor’s.
