9-1-1 has already copped a full Season 2 order.
The police procedural’s second season will run for an expanded 18 episodes, which counts as a renewal-enhancing full season order. Per Deadline:
9-1-1, also debuted last season. I hear it got a 18-episode renewal last spring, so the first responders drama already has a full-season pickup. (The definition of a full broadcast season has evolved over the last decade and varies anywhere from 15 to 24 episodes.)
Like The Resident, which was ordered to full season today, the order puts 9-1-1 in good shape for Season 3 renewal in the weeks and months ahead. Stay tuned…
